Senator Duckworth Reintroduces "Website and Software Applications Accessibility Act"

Senator Tammy Duckworth and Representatives John Sarbanes and Pete Sessions reintroduced bipartisan legislation to help break down barriers that Americans with disabilities face when accessing websites and software applications. The Websites and Software Applications Accessibility Act would establish an enforceable standard, a technical assistance center, a grant program, and an advisory committee to provide assistance and guidance on how to create and maintain accessible websites and applications.
