DOJ Proposes Rule on Web and Mobile Accessibility

On July 25, 2023, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced a proposed rulemaking to provide technical standards to assist public entities to make their websites and mobile apps accessible to individuals with disabilities.

The proposed rule will soon be available for review on the Federal Register’s website at www.federalregister.gov, a fact sheet will soon be available on www.ada.gov, and the public will be invited to submit comments at www.regulations.gov.
