BlueZone FAQ - Hosting Services
Cyber Security is a critical priority for the Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), which is tasked with protecting data a rest, data transit, and data in use. As the current version of BlueZone does not secure data in transit from the mainframe to end point, DoIT is pursuing an upgrade for all desktop installations to BlueZone version 6.2.
During the course of the upgrade, both versions (current and 6.2) will be available via separate icons to assist users with updating custom configurations and to provide an alternative in the event the new version becomes inoperable.
Questions specific to the upgrade are included in the following FAQs.
