Guidelines for Participation:

  • Presentation Focus: The Illinois Procurement Code prohibits discussing current or prospective solicitations in detail during this event. However, Industry Day will facilitate open dialogue and information sharing within the bounds of these restrictions. To ensure a level playing field, this event is designed to gather industry information in an open, public forum.

  • Time Slots: Presentation slots are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors will have 7 minutes to present, followed by a 3 minutes Q&A session.
    • Vendor Presentations: Each vendor will have a designated time slot to present their offerings and answer questions.
    • Networking Opportunity: Vendors who do not secure a presentation slot will have the opportunity to set up a table to display information about their company and engage in networking with other large and small vendors.
  • Open Invitation: All industry leaders are welcome to participate, whether you secure a presentation slot or attend to network and learn.

  • Certification and Registration: If you are not registered with the Secretary of State (SoS), Board of Elections (BoE) or Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR), certified as a BEP vendor with the Commission on Equity and Inclusion, registered in BidBuy with the Chief Procurement Office for General Services, there will be representatives present to share information and answer questions.

Registration:
Early registration is recommended for presenters and vendors due to limited time slots being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
